Your privacy

Ince there is a one-to-one consultation:

A proper consultation requires your practitioner/coach to create a file. This is a legal obligation imposed by the Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO). Your file contains your personal data, notes on your state of health and details of the examinations and treatments carried out.

The file also contains data that are or may be necessary or important for your consultations, e.g. your home and work situation, hobbies, family situation/civil status. Or data requested from your GP or another healthcare provider after your explicit consent.

Your practitioner will do his/her best to ensure your privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Arrangements are made about this with colleagues, for example, if they participate within the coaching process with your permission, and measures are taken to keep the data safe.

Your practitioner is bound by the Privacy Regulations of the Dutch Association for Acupuncture (NVA). You can consult these regulations on the NVA website www.acupunctuur.nl Also, from the NWP kPNI Netherlands.

As a BIG-registered person, I have a duty of confidentiality.

A small part of your file (name, address, place of residence, date of birth, possibly mail address) will be provided to an authorised person for the purpose of (financial) administration (e.g. making appointments, issuing invoice/notice).
