Intermittent Living Special
An Intermittent Living week especially for Muslim women. Why?
An Intermittent Living week especially for Muslim women. Why? We are also seeing a huge increase in chronic diseases and cancer among Muslims. This increase starts at an increasingly younger age. Lack of energy, chronic diseases, obesity, PMS, menopause, infertility, problems during pregnancy and even cancer go hand in hand with lifestyle. This is where then...
There is a lot of advice on the internet regarding improving Western diet and lifestyle habits. Unfortunately, not really multicultural yet. This has encouraged me to start working out advice for Muslim women, organise a special Intermittent Living week and publish an advice and recipe book.
Food and eating is a binding factor within Muslim culture, socially and emotionally. It forms the bridge to the homeland. Using spices is emotion and connects you to your origins.
If you want to learn how you can improve your health and that of your family with the help of some modifications while retaining the traditional flavours of recipes, come to an Intermittent Living week, especially geared towards your culture. Contact me so we can discuss its planning.
Intermittent Living days are based on kPNI science = complete medicine. The concept was developed by Dr Leo Pruimboom.
What will you do and learn?
- Cooking together. Learning to transform recipes so that food becomes medicine while preserving the taste sensation. For this, you may submit a favourite recipe before the start of the week. Yours or your family's. Multiple recipes are also welcome. You will also learn which herbs to use for specific complaints.
- Influence of movement and what kind of movement. Piece of theory and practice. How do you implement that within your daily routine and how can you help your family members with that.
- Thermoregulation using heat and cold, plus its importance.
- Breathing techniques.
- Stress management. This can include prayer, mindfulness, yoga, meditation, learning to manage emotion, etc. ... involve whatever suits you.
Because of the composition of the group, you experience support during and after the week. Doing together, experiencing together, experiencing together is also so important in recovery and prevention. This is where the Muslim culture is strong, very beautiful. And so, with what you all learn in that one week, you can become an important player for the health of so many family members, friends, acquaintances and the community. Passing on health, how beautiful is that!
May I inspire you for that?
