From 1 January '24, I provide a 'chambre en table d'hôtes' in France, 74500 Bernex. And for those who want more privacy, there is a cosy 2-4 person flat for rent.

Bernex is located in a beautiful hiking area in the Vallée d'Abondance at the foot of the Dent d'Oche, a 15-minute drive from Evian-les-Bains on Lake Geneva. In winter, it is a cosy small ski resort with 12 lifts and a 30-minute drive from the large "Portes du Soleil" area.

Whether you are in hiking boots, raquettes, alpine, cross-country skiing or skis de randonne, you will experience phenomenal views of mountain peaks and the lake.

If you want to continue your healthy lifestyle carefree during the holidays, this is the right place. Cooking is culinary and, on request, free of gluten, animal dairy products, soya and added sugars. Personal allergies are taken into account. If you are interested, I will inspire you with recipes and explain the importance of nutrition and exercise as protection, prevention and medicine.

Stay chambre d'hôtes possible from 3 nights for non-smokers in 2, 3 or 4 person room with bathroom. There is a sitting area in an open space with coffee and tea facilities. In summer it is good to relax in the garden. Because of our dogs, we unfortunately cannot welcome pets.

A minimum number of nights - 7 - is required to stay in the apartment. It consists of a dining kitchen, a living room with a pellet stove, a bathroom with sink, shower and toilet, a bedroom and a terrace. The living room has a sofa that can be converted into two single beds and the double bed in the bedroom can be made up as two single beds if necessary. Thanks to smooth floors and the absence of pets, the flat is also suitable for allergy sufferers.

Easily accessible by car, train and plane. If necessary, transfer from Evian-les-Bains station possible.
