The driving force behind FlexHealth is Marijke\nEngelbrecht. Marijke is a scientifically trained psycho-, neuro-,\nimmunologist with over thirty years of experience in integrative medicine. This broad\nknowledge she combines with her coaching skills, enabling her to quickly see through\nwhat the physical and\/or psychological causes are of personal\nobstacle, both at individual and group level, and comes up with\na personalised plan of action to achieve real results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marijke completed her training at the Academy of Physiotherapy in 1986. However, this is not all, Marijke always follows further education and courses, focusing on health and people, to always provide the most up-to-date care. Soon, in 1988, Marijke started her own practice, specialising in physiotherapy, acupuncture and children's sensomotor therapy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Over the years, she expanded her practice into Centrum Engelbrecht, which includes integral manual therapy, BICOM bioresonance, orthomolecular medicine and nutritional advice, kPNI and Intermittent Living\u00ae\u00a9 concept. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of 2019, she is adding a new venture, FlexHealth, a corporate health consultancy, through which she supports companies that care about the health of their employees through clinical Psycho- Neuro- Immunology in order to bring about more effective business management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unsurprisingly, Marijke had her mission at an early\nclear at a young age: to pass on health, by giving people their own preventive or\nrestorative tools for this. To accomplish this, the\ncause of diseases had to be known. Fortunately, science ran parallel to her\nsearch for these tools. And after completing scientific training within kPNI,\nshe now has such extensive knowledge that she can offer an actual holistic\napproach she can offer to achieve her mission. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So Marijke is committed to making physical and mental health accessible to all. Among others, she treats the following conditions: digestive complaints, IBS and PDS, allergies\/intolerances, skin problems, hormone imbalance (such as PMS, PCOS, fertility), thyroid and adrenal complaints, pain, weight, behaviour and stress management, depression, mood swings, autoimmune diseases and she offers cancer support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
